The company undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of personal data provided by you via the websites www.casomes.ro via the form in the “Contact” section and  https://mycas.casomes.ro (MyCAS)

It is addressed to current or potential customers of Someș S.A. Water Company.

We may process personal data about you FOR THE PURPOSE:

• Providing our services.

We will use your data to send you an offer (at your request), to conclude and execute the contract with you, for information purposes, to ensure that we provide you with the requested services, to carry out pre-contractual procedures on request (issue of technical opinions of principle and site, works acceptance). We will mainly process your identification data (name, surname, address for which the services are requested, mailing address, customer code, ID number and series, CNP, ownership document, e-mail address, telephone number, signature) and, if we have a contractual relationship with you, the data included in the contract with you (such as address of place of consumption) or in the invoices issued.

• Settling your claims.

We will use your data to respond to any requests, demands, complaints, or any requests for information that you submit to us in the course of our relationship with you. We will mainly use your first and last name, your contact details (email address, phone number) and the information contained in your application.

• Information

In order to send you information on water supply interruptions due to scheduled works, information on the status of bills (on our initiative), it is necessary to process your personal data, based on your consent. We will mainly process the following data relating to you: name, surname, email address, telephone number, postal address, consumption history. 

2. Legal grounds for processing your personal data;

The legal grounds for processing your personal data for each of the purposes defined above are:

• to execute the contract for existing clients or to carry out pre-contractual work on request (issue of technical opinions of principle and site);
• the consent of the data subjects.

3. Obligation to provide personal data about you

You are under no obligation to provide us with your personal data. Registering on the website and providing them can be to your advantage. If you provide us with the requested data, we will, for example, be able to enter into a contract with you, provide our services, give you access to all the options on our website, respond to your requests or inquiries or send you information on any scheduled water shutoffs, status of your requests, etc.

For the processing of personal data based on your consent, you are not obliged to provide personal data and there are no negative consequences for you if you refuse to provide it.

4. Source of personal data

Someș S.A. collects personal data directly from you.

5. Recipients of personal data;

Your personal data are intended for use by Someș Water Company S.A. and are communicated to the following recipients if applicable:

• contractual partners (service providers) used in the course of business, such as (but not limited to): IT services (maintenance, software development), messaging services, online user traffic monitoring).
• payment processors;
• public authorities and institutions (including tax authorities)

The disclosure of data to third parties is made in accordance with the legal provisions for the categories of recipients specified above.

6. Transfer of personal data to a third country or international organisation;

We do not transfer and do not intend to transfer your personal data to a third country or international organisation. If our intentions change, we will inform you in advance, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016

7. Storage period of personal data;

All personal data collected will be stored for as long as necessary that is relevant for the purposes mentioned above and as long as required by applicable national law.

8. Your rights and how to exercise them;

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016 you have the right to withdraw your consent, the right of access to processed data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”), the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object, the right to lodge a complaint with the ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro)
