The general objective of the Regional Project is to improve the water and wastewater infrastructure in Cluj and Sălaj counties by extending and developing the service of drinking water supply, microbiologically controlled, in conditions of safety and health protection in localities with more than 50 inhabitants and ensuring the collection and treatment of wastewater for agglomerations of more than 2,000 l.e. in order to comply with the requirements of European directives on the quality of water intended for human consumption (Directive 98/83/EC) and wastewater treatment (Directive 91/271/EEC).
The value of the project is 404.4 mil. Euro.
